    GT2 - 7:49
    GTR - 7:55.9

"so we left the Ring on the close of the second day, the GT2 was the daddy"

    PORSCHE GT2
“Given the times we set were both some-way off the manufacturers’ claims, how do we feel about those claims? Well, Walter’s time is 17-seconds faster than this, and having experienced the GT2 at full-afterburner, I have no doubt that the car will achieve that time. I could show you where I’ve lost five seconds on just a handful of sections.

    NISSAN GTR
“could the Nissan really go 27-seconds faster? I just don’t know…but I just don’t see where another 27-seconds comes from with the car I drove. I felt that I came much closer to extracting the maximum performance of the Nissan on this single-flying-lap challenge than I did the Porsche.

    FINAL
“But be in no doubt, when we left the Ring on the close of the second day, the GT2 was the daddy. We did the times and the Porsche won.”

Oh thats right.... i forgot about 3 GTRs have had tranny problems out of thousands. That sure makes it worth dropping an extra hundred grand on a car. Yeah.

Looks? Porsche has retained the same basic look since the late 70s. The GTR has a way better presence than a porsche. Of course you'd have to spend a day driving one to understand as you couldn't understand without seeing the actual reaction while on the road.

Yes, but if one can afford the GT2, that extra money isnt going to factor in to the decision.

    Thats because its beautiful.

I'm guessing you own a GTR?

Dont get me wrong, i think the GTR is an awesome car. But if i had to choose between a GT2 and a GTR i would take the GT2. Of course i would spend a day or so masterbating to the fact that i had to make that choice in the first place. :eek3:

1.) Porsche takes care of its customers.

2.) Porsche has stayed with the same body line because that is what makes it a Porsche. Mercedes has stuck with the same styling for a long time. Why? They are cars that still look great 30 years later.

3.) I'm not an arrogant jackass who drives a car just so I feel like people are looking at me...even when they are looking at what my money bought.

You sound like an ///M driver.

Besides. A porsche draws way more attention from people who don't use a bowl of warm rice pudding to emulate a vagina late at night.

I drove a ZR1 around the ring in 10:41 so, that is it's official time and the others are lies
