Dried Up Watermarks On Glass

    Whats the best way to get rid of them? *besides new glass*

    ive tried many window cleaning products, and plenty of elbow grease.

    what am i missing, or is it permanent.

    If the window is etched then Cerium Oxide is a glass polishing compound. I never used it but if you do a search over the net.... Polishing glass is a field by its self way differnt then polishing paint.
    If its just hard water stains just like what EkriirkE said. You can even use a can of Coke its got phosphoric acid in it, works real good. I have heard some people use polishing compound but I have not had a beat old car to try it out yet. A clay bar works too

    Soft Scrub and #0000 steel wool may also work.
