looking for a new pair of dress shoes, but here's the problem.

i'm 6'4" and don't want a shoe with that much of a heel. can't seem to find any.

second, i wear a size 12 and am worried something liek this will make my feet look enormous, especially since i wear a size 33 waist :hs:

that all being said, what do you think of these?

I have the same issue with being tall/big feet. My Hugo Boss blacks look great, but long in the toe like many shoes. Can attract scuffs and make driving a chore. But I find the slight addition of a toe cap and well tailored shape of my Johnston Murphy Browns to be a happy medium to comfort and good looks.

That said, if I'm going out in slacks, the Boss's go on. Best looking shoes I've ever owned.

Also, I'm not a fan of the elastic on the side of shoes. I can understand their use on slip ons (which I also do not like), but on lace ups? Like the sweatpants of dress shoes. Good leather will stretch and fit better as well as look better.
