I've used dreamweaver daily for the past couple years, and when I think about it, the only thing I use it for these days is the script color coding, which I couldn't live without. Other than that it sucks, big resource hog, shitty ftp client, change to design view even for 1 second and it somehow makes a mess of my code.

Something like editpad lite that color coded too would be perfect. Gotta be something like that out there :dunno:

Sounds like your computer sucks. I too use it for the scripting, and most of my editing, and toggling between views of source or design gives me no problems at all.

I think the boss would probably have a stroke if I told him I needed more computer upgrades :mamoru:. Just added dual 19" wide screens too

That's not my issue with it, it's just annoying making a one letter typo or something that breaks my code, and it taking a minute and a half to correct it. I've kind of gotten in the habit lately to have the server pulled up on remote desktop, and copying and pasting from DW to the files in Notepad right on the server .

I don't have any of those problems with dreamweaver. What version are you using?

Dreamweaver used to mess with my code, but in CS, it doesn't anymore.

    Hasn't really even since MX.

I actually like the FTP client. It is the most trouble free one I've used, it just sucks you have to launch DW to use it.
