ok, check this my friend just bought a pretty nice 81 Z-28. 350 with t350 trans, shift kit, nice body its not a bad car. he thinks its the shit but his engine is stock :mamoru: and his rear end is trash. but not to trash on him, also my other friend got a beastly 72 nova ss clone. this car is a beast 454 with t400 trans:bowdown: ford 9" rear end with 373 gears , so basicly its gunna screw. But anyway im just wondering what you guy's dream muscle carsare? me i just saw a 81 malibu with a 468 engine im checkin out:x:

    I want a 64 Thunderbolt.

    Right now I'm working on a 70 Nova and a 66 Mustang.

Ooooh... tough one to answer. So many cool cars from back then that I couldn't just pick one. I have to go down the list of the top 5.

    1. ZL-1 Camaro (naturally ;))
    2. Boss 302 Mustang
    3. Chevelle SS 396 (drool)
    4. Oldsmobile 4-4-2 (awesome luxo-rocket)
    5. Hemi Challenger (old auto shop teacher from high school had a brother that had one. Threw some 4.56 gears and slicks on it, and ran an 11.80 at the track.)

    Good stuff. :bigthumb:

Always someone with a car that doesn't (read: CAN'T) exist

While there was a 440 Hemi, it never made production, you will NEVER find a numbers matching 440 Hemi anything. :mamoru:

You will also never find a Chrysler with a 426 (Hemi or wedge) :ugh:

    I've got a '65 Imperial Crown Coupe
    413-4
    Mauve Metallic
    Black Plum leather (VERY rare)
    Persian White top
6 power windows (find that on any other car)

You can get your '70 HemiCuda convertible --- it's just a 426 (not 440) :bigthumb:

Exactly. You could get the 440 "6-pack" motor, OR the 426 Hemi. The 440 wasn't a Hemi motor... although it was quite bitchin' ;)

3 dual carbs + 440 cubic inches = torque from hell. :bigthumb:

    '70 Cuda engines
    383cid/335hp -- standard
    440cid/350hp -- $131
    440-6/390hp -- $250
    426Hemi/425hp -- $841

I'm not finding torque numbers on the 440-6 but I'm thinking 475
