I was looking forward to this but WTF!!??

    Why does it cost $40!?

    http://store.steampowered.com/app/47730/

If the expansion is going to cost 4/5 the amount that the original game costs, then it better have 4/5 the amount of content

that would be the most expensive dlc known to date wouldn't it?

developers need to stop releasing half a game if dlc is gonna cost that much.

I wouldn't go as far as calling Dragon Age a half of a game lol. It has a shitload of content but charging this much for the expansion is ridiculous. I suppose it's just EA being EA which is being a bunch of dirty money cock gobblers

The trailer looks interesting... But $40, seriously? I knew EA was strapped for cash, but this would put it as far and away as the most expensive DLC for a game. I think the previous high was like $20 for one of the GTA games.

this isn't DLC, it's a good old-fashioned expansion...it's almost a whole new game but requires the original to play it.

I know that, but I'm probably gonna hold off on buying the expansion until I hear more about it. I enjoyed the first one but don't know if I'm ready for another 20+ hours of Dragon Age.

Even so, this is the most expensive expansion I've ever seen. Will not be picking this up because of the price.

considering not too long ago I spent 50 bucks on the game, it's a little pricey.

If it's another 30 or so hours, I'll grab it but first I'm doing the Dawn of War II expansion.

If the industry weren't limited by the 360's DVD drive, it probably could have all been on the original release. :hsugh:

Really? I'm used to $40 expansions :dunno: I remember picking up diablo 2 LOD for $40 on the day of release.:bowdown::bowdown: however, totally not worth $40 for the one new act and two classes by todays standards.

After reading up on this Awakening shenanigans though, seems like it's worth the $40 in the end :dunno:

Unemployment rates are high and most of us have bills to pay. Not everyone has hundreds of dollars of spending money all the time. :hsugh:

But since when was an expansion $40? It's always been $30 for an expansion... And that is the PC version. So does that mean the xbox version is gonna be $50 since the game was $60?

It's a bit trickier for open games where you go wherever you want. If the whole game was completely linear then no problem

lol @ people saying it should have been in the game at release.

60-80 hours of gameplay wasn't enough afterall.

Shit if you think it costs too much then don't buy it.

Considering the info that's come out on it, I don't have a problem buying it.
