    DPMS Panther Arms' New 45 Round Magazine works in any firearm that readily accepts EM-16 magazines and is function fired before shipping. Stamped out of 0.040" Thick 6000-series Aluminum, heat treated to T6 condition
    Hard coat anodized per MIL-A-8525, Class 2 Teflon coated
    Fabricated from two 30rd box magazines
    Uses a standard follower and floor plate

    true, but everything is expensive when it first comes out.. :dunno:

    I bet the 17 round glock mags were quite a bit more than the 10 rounders at first, even though it was just a different follower :dunno:

    if other companies start making them, price will go down, could be a new standard :dunno:

    looks like to mags welded together and $90, I'll pass can get a beta for the price of a couple of those mags good luck shooting prone with it...

    I got a 55rd AK mag :o

    I coulda sworn I saw 45 round mags on ar15.com that weren't DPMS.

    promag makes 40's heard there unreliable though, I got a 20 that I only use at range I've had problems with it, and its fucking sharp cut myself loading it a couple times :o

    I'm thinking about making a coupe of my own 45 round 5.45 ak74 mags.. seen guys on other boards who've 2 of them an expoxied them together. i got a few beat up ones I bought way back when for like $4.99 each worth a try.

    The 17rd Glock mags predated 10rd mags by about 11 years, they never cost a cent more.


    As for the DPMS 45rd, I haven't heard anything particular about it but those frankenmags have never been as reliable as USGI 20rd and 30rds. Cruiser is right, you'd be better put to spend the money on 6-8 30rds.
