Anyone have one of these (doesn't have to be this exact brand) and where did you buy it? I searched at walmart and Dick's Sporting Goods and couldn't find them.

You can find different models with wide grip too. Look at it's design, it should be easy to make a wide grip one.

those things scare me. I usually do pullups with my legs crossed and heels picked up, so if it slipped I'd land with all my weight on my knees, which would be very bad.

    sturdy pullup bars ftw.

Yeah, I'm nervous too.. which is why I haven't bought yet.

I'd just assume wait until I get my cage, with a bar mounted on it. Safely.

i saw a kid using one in my dorm and somehow, i think on the up motion, the bar gave out and he wacked his skull on the ground.

he started shaking, seizure like, it was pretty crazy.

i just use the overhead pipes in my building lol

That'd be cool but my parents won't let me drill any holes or anything cause we are moving soon.

I used to use them when I was younger. They're great. Now I just use the front of my squat rack. :o

The drill in one sounds cool. I've only ever used the ones that kinda expand to fit the door frame.
