Im trying to grow in size, so i know my muscles need time to recover, most say lift every other day. I would like to go more to the gym, but i dont understand how someone could. Say if you do chest and back one day, and the next day you want to do bi's and tri's or shoulders and legs, you seem to be always using your biceps. So in fact are you overworking the biceps, thus leading to less gains?

Read the stickies. You generally want to do days with push, pull. There are plenty of good routines, follow one.

Biceps are a smal muscle group and can take a lot of abuse from compound movements and just keep growing.

Push/Pull on polar days of a cycle that you steal/design which you body responds to.
    You still need off days.
    I'm on a 6 day cycle w/ 1 off day.

Train as much as you want!! Overtraining is overrated!! If you feel like going to the gym, then go. Just keep your calories up.

it seems like im not getting bigger anymore though. I dont know if im overtraining and hurting my growth. I was going like 5 times a week doing push/pull techniques till failure and i havent seen much progress in a while. with proper rest 2-3 mintues between sets, it seems like it take me about 1 1/2 hours every time im at the gym.
