    At first I thought this dog was very strange looking, but she is hilarious. Very fun dog and loves everyone. Just screwing around taking pics for a friend tonight. Still practicing to learn how to not suck with a speed light.

    Would you guys shoot front or rear curtain for this? I tried rear curtain in hopes it would cover any movement the dog did.

    It's not a great pic by any means, but the owner absolutely loves it.

    use your max sync speed as to now allow for movement, not like the ambient is helping for that kind of shot

    roger. what is that on a d90 with sb-600? 1/200?

    flash doesn't matter, only the body does. most advanced flashes have a high speed sync, but that isn't necessary. really 1/125 is probably fine

    yeah it's tough. i was laying on the ground and she kept looking up at her owner. was hard to get a direct shot
