The best thing about New Years is the Twilight Zone Marathon on the SciFi Channel.
LOLs I've seen every Twilight Zone episode like TWICE. I watched the new years marathon of it a couple years back, good times.
did they show " I Sing the Body Electric"?
i loved that episode
The main alien in that Twilight Zone episode is the actor Richard Kiel, the same guy who played the tall supervillain 'Jaws' in 2 James Bond movies: 'The Spy Who Loved Me' and 'Moonraker'.
Richard Kiel (as the supervillain 'Jaws')
There are so many big name actors in Twilight Zone episodes (before they were big) you can't even keep track. Cloris Leachman was in that one with Bill Mumy that got remade in the movie - where the little boy wishes things and they happen.
Don't forget Happy Gilmore...
william Shatner, Robert redford i know offhand.
Yeah he was in that movie too. He scared the pants off Shooter McGavin in that one scene aswell, heh.
i believe thats Mr.Gilmores
Guns dont kill people, i do
or sumthin like that
Burt Reynolds was in one of them too. The Shakespeare one.
Yup, very true. Like William Shatner was in two Twilight Zone episodes. The one where he see's the gremlin on the wing of the plane and the other with that devil-head fortune-telling machine thingy in the diner. Sorry, I don't really remember the exact name of the episodes.
What episode(s) was Robert Redford in?
The fortune telling machine one is called "In the Nick of Time", I just saw it today. I don't remember the name of the airplane one. That one also got made into an episode in the movie.
Edit: It's called Nightmare at 20,000 feet.
WTF I dont remember that episode. What was that one about? Burt Reynolds, lols?!
time enough at last > *
Has anybody seen "Deaths Head Revisited"? Great episode, but they never show it. This guy who was an SS officer in WWII goes to visit Auschwitz, and gets put on trial by ghosts of the Jews he murdered.
Anthrax has a song about the episode - Intro to Reality/Belly of the Beast.
Oh yeah, that's what they were called. I liked the one where the 2 cops chased an alien in a crowded diner and then you gotta figure out which one of the people in the diner is the alien, that episode was awesome.
He was just an actor on a tv series in that episode. This shitty writer was trying to break into TV and studied black magic to conjure up William Shakespeare and force him to write screenplays, except putting his own name on them.
My brother and I watched it tonight.
i watched mythbusters instead........
Burges Meredith was in some really awesome ones. That and Obsolete Man =
I flipped back and forth at commercials.
Plus I recorded a bunch of Twilight Zones to watch after Mythbusters.
From the movie: "Hey...do you wanna see something REALLY scary?"
To this day, I can't listen to "Midnight Special" without thinking of the Twilight Zone movie.
Was that one of the hour long episodes? I haven't seen any of those, except for the one where Dennis Hopper plays a young Neo-Nazi and gets help with his hate speeches from a dark shadowy figure who turns out to be Hitler himself (or rather the ghost of Hitler). I'm pretty sure that's a different episode then the one you are talking about though, but it was one of the hour long episodes however.
