At least until they get their shit straight. Read the thread below if you don't remember my issue.

    http://forums.offtopic.com/showthread.php?t=3120892

Bought 2 different CF Ultra II cards from 2 different Costco's......and both were fuxored. I recently picked up a PNY card from a computer store that was going out of business for cheap (see, $15). I haven't had the first issue with it, and its actually just as fast as the Ultra II's were. Took the bummed CF cards back to Costco without an issue........and won't buy one from their store again. I guess maybe its their supplier? Who knows how far the bad cards could spread......

I have 2 cards from them and neither of them have problems...:dunno:

what people fail to realize is these things aren't perfect. I can tell you from experience that these cards are actually extremely fragile and can/will break if not taken care of properly. Also, there are such things as bad batches. luckily, Costco will replace the item without a problem and the problem is usually solved.

I won't trust another brand of memory cards except Sandisk.

Well obviously you had good luck, you will continue to support their product. And I haven't failed to realize shit, I got 2 different cards, from 2 different Costco's........about 3 months apart at that. Both of them fucked up just the same way, BRAND NEW out of the package. And I know there are such thats as bad batches, which I thought I had made clear in my first post.

I'd be hesitant to buy another Sandisk, but if I did it wouldn't be from Costco. I am not supersticious........it just left a bad taste in my mouth. I never had a problem with my Lexar, which had over 7000 shutter actuations on my 300D.......and this PNY has close to 2000 already.

You can keep your Sandisk crap. :mamoru:

I was losing photos on my brand new Ultra II cards. Simple switch to the PNY card and no problems what so ever......

that would be my guess too because of all the brands i've bought for work, sandisk is the only brand to be consistently reliable...and i've purchased a lot of memory cards over the course of 2.5 years (approx. 250 with brands ranging from Fuji, Lexar, Kingston, PNY, Corsair, etc.)
