Fagcakes shermanm4 is an "FFL" who doesnt have time to do 2 transfers, yet he has time to go ship out rifles :ugh:

Lost 2 sales because "he didn't have the time to do the transfers"

Depends on what you want, some of their prices beat buying local, and they offer alot of harder to find things. But yeah, for the most part people seem to charge over retail.

Or they try to get retail....plus shipping....plus FFL handling fees. Not that they get the FFL fee but still

There are some deals once in a great while but mostly Gunbroker is about gundealers trying to get retail or even above retail from unsuspecting saps.

Nope, some of the stuff you can find here occasionally places like KVAR will have the parts, but usually for more money, decided I want to modify my SAR2 as close as possible to a russian ak74.

Furniture, gas block, muzzle brake, reciever cover, are the big differences, I've got the gas block, new front sight base, already have a 74 style brake already, furniture is the main thing left i need to get, If I wait i know i can get furniture from a friend whos got family over there next time he goes to visit, in the meantime I may just get an ACE stock set since it'll atleast go toward my US parts count.

Most gun store owners seem like jerks that don't want to make money.

There are just so many over-priced, shady, or just plain dishonest listings every time I go on there. I'm sure there are good deals to be found, but I've never been able to find one that was good enough for me to chance getting screwed.

Not to mention that there seems to be a prevalence of sellers on auction sites in general that act like they are doing you a favor by selling to you. That just pisses me off.

For firearms stuff I usually check whatever board specializes in the brand/type of product I'm looking for. There are usually a couple of really good dealers that are popular with the board and they always seem to have good prices and customer service.

yeah that us a good idea. But i only use dealors that have amex as a payment type or some type of cc because you can reverse the charges or deny payment if they screw you.
