Doing tons of volume prior to taking a break?

    Im going to Cabo from the 21st-28th, and wont have gym access..

    I haven't missed going to the gym in like a year and a half, :rofl:

    So these last few days I have been doing tons of volume and eating tons of food (last 3 days, 4800+ cals).

    For instance I did today: (today was fratboy bis/chest)

    Flat Bench 5x5
    Incline Bench 5x5
    Cable Fly: 3xfailure
    Incline Fly: 3xfailure
    BB Curl: 4x8
    Incline Curl: 3xfailure
    cable curl: 3xfailure

    took about an hour and a half, i was sipping gatorade + malto tho
    last previous todays I did a same amount of volume for my lowback/hamstrings and upperback days

    i felt great afterwards, had a pump that lasted like 2hrs :eek3:

    is this a good idea or a bad idea? I know I wont lose any mass from 1 week off, but I always feel like shit if I dont lift and I dont want that :hs::hs::hs:

    tommorow is legs and weds I leave :noes::noes::noes:
