For the past 8 months or so I have been going to the gym really late...2-3 am. I have worked late for years now, so I am always up late. Just how my schedule has been. Go to bed around 4 am, sometimes later.

I come home, make my PWO shake and throw in some cottage cheese and head to bed but I sleep in until about 12 or 1, so I go quite a while without an actual meal.

It never really hit me until now, I think I should change my schedule up huh? :o

I will have been working out for a year at the end of this month, and have noticed a big change.

I am just worried that I could be bigger and stronger if not for this schedule. :hsd:

RazoR says you're doing it right. by principle and to be safe you should probably just do the opposite of what he says.

I don't go quite that late. I used to go around 10-2 or 3 every night. I don't see a difference in gains from when I lifted at that time compared to now. I go between 5-8pm now.

as long as you get the pwo, cheese and adequate sleep i dont see the problem. your day is just shifted from an average persons day. if its working why try to fix it..you might be set back a few days adjusting to the new hours.

if you choose to change it up, try working out around 8pm or so, and take some melatonin after to knock you out and set an alarm. just my .02

make sure you sleep enough. I worked a night shift job for 5 months, til the schedule got to me. I was tired all the time, getting fatter and my gym motivation was lacking.

What and how are you eating your cottage cheese? I've tried to eat it and the smell keeps me away.

is it possible to just shake it with the whey in milk? Or would the texture still be difficult to swallow? What does it taste like mixed in? thanks

I think blending is best cause it gets rid of the chunks of the cheese and you can't even taste it. I put two tablespoons in. Makes it more creamy too with just water ftw.
