And this among other QC issues is why i wouldn't ever pay to own one.

oops. I bet they replaced it though.

Not that I would buy one either, but I heard good things about their customer service.

Is there some back story to that? I have a sub2000 and that seems like it would be really hard to do.

Apparently the part that broke is just plastic :dunno: Said he was shooting it, groups suddenly got kind of shitty and when he went to put it away it just came apart. Says it was pretty cold out when it happened. It took place in March, just got the repaired gun back from KT.

It is but so is the grip on my handgun and I certainly can't break it without trying very hard, even with the magazine out. I'll be the first to admit that KT can have some quality issues but the hinged area that surrounds the chamber completely encircles the chamber and is reinforced around the square outline with 3.5mm thick plastic. It really seems like quite a sturdy design, I don't think I could replicate that break with a hammer.
