D'oh for Cisco...

    Having deployed and been trained on Cisco AVVID, Nortel, Avaya, and 3Com, I can say that not a single solution is the absolute best. Everyone has their own way of doing things - some better, some worse depending on customer requirements but Cisco must've really dropped the ball on this one.

    hmm, very interesting... i wonder if it was a lack of support on Cisco's part. Man, how stupid can you be if that is the case. I'm sure that Merrill is not their biggest contract, but still... Avaya must have really come on strong.

    Here's a little more detail. It makes a lot of sense to go with a dual IP/TDM bus. Nortel's IP solution also does this.

    Merrill Lynch must know something we don't. :rofl::rofl:

    I would have stuck with Cisco or switched to Nortel. Not an Avaya fan. :ugh2:
