    Its really a 4x6, and I left the eyeglare on purpose. Thats what dogs eyes do naturally in the dark, and I wanted it to look natural.

    looks very flat due to use of flash.. would use other lighting or an off-camera flash.

    also i don't like retina reflections, especially from flash.. they look nothing like natural because if there's a direct light shining at your pet and you do manage to catch the right angle their eyes look TOTALLY different. flash photography bleaches out the subtle colours completely because it's so much brighter than ambient light.
