Nay. The only decent one around (in the entire fucking COUNTY) is usually about three/four weeks late with what the Americans get.
Not to mention they're assholes and don't know what customer service is even if it raped them 'til their fucking asses bled.

You can probably guess i don't like them very much :o

I'm thinking about trying an online subscription service, honestly ... none of the stores here seem to do a really good job of it in person. I don't know why that is.

That's actually a good and simple idea. I should bring it up at my shop. They do however print a list of that week's new releases/merchandise that came in. They also put little tags on the shelves showing what's a new release/last week's release/new title.

i get an email usually friday or saturday that tells me whats shipping this week.

In the store they have shelf with all the new arriving stuff and a whiteboard with this weeks arrivals and all the stuff for rpg card game geeks :mamoru:

also, when i pay for my sub, he prints me a list of everything I paid for, so that i can keep track what i get and what gets cancelled :hs:

where are you anyways...i never bothered to ask lol

i think my store is one of the few that do this in my area. most other shops are too stuck up to do this extra step. Also, the guy i deal with at the shop emails me when the books are late or not coming because I'm there every wednesday at 5pm to pick up my books after work :hs:

maybe im just a nice guy who is loyal to his store :dunno:

location seems to be the problem :mamoru:

the other shops in town are still good, but this place is 5 minutes from my house and has the weekly stuff on a shelf from the bigger publishers. the only thing is that its more of a card game shop :hsugh: so i have to deal with the warhammer/magic/various card game people.

i used to get my books thursday until i found out thats tournament day :hsugh: now that is a site to see

Portsmouth, England, where the comic book shops are not operated by fat geeky guys but horrible ugly women with barely any teeth left :wtc:

I'd think that it'd be a combination of loyalty and excellent customer service. I bet he gets a bit more people this way. I know i'd definitly stick arounf for a store that'd do that for me. Good on the guy :bigthumb:

It barely looks like a member of the opposite gender, man. The only thing that would distinguish it from a smelly disgustingly ugly, belly-potted man with bad breath and teeth is the sagging tits. :ugh:
