I just got my CHL and I know the feeling is going to feel funny at first but my leg starts to fall asleep/tingle after a short while of carrying. My pants arent really really tight but obviously tighter than usual. Also its only the leg that Im carrying on. Rig is a G36 in a CTAC so its not all that big, whats the issue? new holster? New pants? Different belt? Help :(

and people think we carry because its so much fun!!!! :eek3: they dont realize that it sucks to have it on all day long.

i would definately play with different belt and holster combinations, try different positions. spend whatever it takes to be more comfortable, because discomfort is a poor excuse to leave it at home.

could you be hitting a nerve in your hip with the barrel part of the CTAC? I know that digs into me sometimes. Maybe try moving it more towards your 12 or 6 and see if that changes?

Ya, try moving it around. Also a solid belt will allow you to wear it looser.

I wear a 30 inch waist, but i switched to 32 inch for all pants now, i can tighten them without bunching without a gun (rarely), and with a gun, it fits well. the key to my comfort is a good fitting pair of pants and a good belt.
a crappy belt WILL make it hard to carry. a good stiff belt is what you need.
    i carry mine just behind 3 o'clock.
