Fuck me. Every time I go on there to look for a telephoto, NOTHING is ever in stock. Don't these pricks have some kind of waiting list?

    edit:
 just found the email in-stock thingy. :o

if you think the canon side doesn't ever have anything, try checking the nikon side.

but hey, you can't beat their prices for the most part and their service is great! They'll be expanding soon so keep your eye out.

Use the email feature. I waited about one week before they got the 70-200 f4 IS in stock. Ordered it and had it two days later.

usally they will tell you when to expect them to be in stock. I was looking for one to take to the f1 race last year and they told me when to "expect" it to be online and BAM there it was. Great site, great people, never EVER had a problem with them

    Rentglass ftw

I waited until it was close to time for my needing a good zoom lens, and I got the first of a couple choices when it became available. FWIW the "in stock" emails come out around 4pm EST or so.......and you have to be on top of your email to get the lens you want. I missed the 70-200 f2.8 IS during the registration process. :hsd:

  17. If you think Calumet is awesome you should go to B&H

be sure to bring a baseball bat so you can beat your way through the crowd though :mamoru:

rented a 135L, quantum turbo and st-e2 for a wedding this weekend.

  19. Why rent the quantum? If you're doing weddings you show OWN one and have another as a backup.
:dunno: Maybe you enjoy missing shots waiting for your flash to recycle. :hs:

Calumet is awesome they have tons of shit in stock and since i work in philly i can stop by anytime :o

  22. not essential? :mamoru:

I never use flash without one, and I always use flash especially at weddings and other events that I never shoot :dunno:

seriously man, if you're doing weddings you need one, you have a fisheye but you dont have a turbo? priorities... :hs:

i don't have a fisheye, I rented it once by request. I hate the look.

someday, but for now its just too easy to rent them. I shoot with as much natural light as possible

    not when the prices suck.

    in store = $75/day for 70-200 f/2.8
    rentglass = $82/week for 70-200 f/2.8
