I work at a grocery shop doing checkouts (during university), i'm just wondering would that type of constant, light movement somehow train your body against putting on mass?

doesn't reduce gains but will tire you enough to make a difference if you did it or not before a gym workout

it most likely wouldn't. If it was, it would be another excuse, put it this way, your talking to your friend you haven't seen for a year, hes like "dude man, haven't you been working out for like year?, you look the same". And you go "yeah man, but i work checkouts, progress is slow man".....

Yeah i had the time to write that.

That is a very good point. Do you work in a similar kind of industry?

truth. if I deadlift after 8 hours of work on my feet and lifting boxes, even if i've napped for an hour and ate a lot, my lifts are a bit weaker. I always have the energy once I start lifting, but it's like my muscles are just fatigued and can't perform 100%.
