I had a bottle i just found in the back of my medicine cabinet. Its 250 pills, so i'd hate to just chuck it in the trash. The freshness seal has never been broken, the stamped date says they expired 08/2006.

Will they be ok to take, just only work at maybe 80% or so effectiveness due to their age, or do I just have to throw them out?

If it were fish oil I'd toss it but flax seed is just oil, no? Which should last fine it it were sealed.

Personally I'd try 1 or 2, and go from there.

Update: Had a fart that made my dog leave the room, but other than that, no drama.
