So my 800xl died on me a few days ago. I was just curious if ATI offers any repairs for thier video cards or anything of that nature? I don't want to spend a lot of money on another card.

Send it back to the manufacturer of the card.

Is there a time limit on when I can return the card. It's not that old, just about a year. I was looking around ATI site, but I couldn't find a definitive answer.

If it's been a year, I doubt they'll do anything for you.

My Saphire, ATI card died around the 1 year mark and they replaced it for free....however, it obviously wasn't a true ATI card. I'd check with your vendor first and see if they can check with the MFG for you....that's what I had to do because the MFG wouldn't deal with me directly (they told me to go to vendor).

Some companies have lifetime warrenties like BFG and some other companies have 1 year or 5 year. Like the post above said you will have to call the manufacturer.

ATi won't fix it, they don't even build the cards, they just engineer the GPU and produce drivers. You'd have to see if the manufacturer will replace it, but if it's physically damaged don't bet on it.

Hmmm....I thought ATI did make some cards. I thought I remember seeing just ATI on the boxes of some cards...but I'm prolly mistaken cuz I don't keep up with Hardware.
