I've had a fucked shoulder for a while, and no health insurance. Does ART actually work, and does it provide a long-term solution to problems?

That's going to depend on what your problem actually is. Have you had an MRI on it? Is the prblem with the joint, tendon, ligament, cuff or muscular? Lots of variables here. I had art done on my shoulder after surgery and it helped my ROM.

I have no clue. I never could afford any one of those procedures.

Last time the doctor said is was a problem with the anterior delt. I get pain right in the center of the shoulder (if you were looking at the shoulder from the side) when I raise my arm straight out to the side. I can feel the arm part drop down then rotate up without pain after that point. Then, I have to wait a few minutes to move it again so it does the same thing.

Thanks, I'll try another place then. What is it all about? The website doesn't really have any good information on what they actually do.

They want $75 for the treatment, and another $300 for teh exam.

Don't bother giving him advice, he hasn't taken any advice given to him yet, and this is like his five thousandth thread about his shoulder.

wtf? You recommended ART last time after I went to the doctor. If I would have known sooner, I'd try it. I'm now going to try it out. I respect your opinion.

People can keep telling me to go to the doctor, but I can't because I don't have insurance and don't make enough cash to drop $600 every time I get an injury. I'd like to fix it, and hopefully ART will help.

I think the art would help in your case. Try to find a chiropractic college and you can get art done there at $10.00 per session.

I tried ART on my left arm for a quite bizzare problem. Basically I woke up one morning and my left index finger started tingling and soon after it spread to my entire hand, forearm and then entire arm. It would get worse if rained to a point where I tear up. Tried all sorts of stuff, and finally ART fixed me up 90%.

Yes, it is worth it, but get diagnosed properly before spending the money.

Each session is a painfull 10 minutes - but sooo worth it.

Is $65 per treatment too much, and should I have them take xrays?
