I got really sick recently, quit my job out of frustration and now that things are better I like to "start over". New clothes, different personality, new life etc.

I don't like shopping. I like knowing what store to go into and what I want from that store, I go in and get whatever X is and I don't browse.

I'm mid 20s, white, young effectual, I look excessively young for my age.
5'8" 135 pounds (if it matters)

I spend a lot of time outdoors playing sports, golf, camping, paintballing so I like clothes with some durability but I like nice soft stuff...so try and balance that. :o

I'm looking for ideas on what the "style" is for my age, what stores I should be going into and how much this is all going to cost me. I currently wear A&F type of stuff so yeah, it is time for a change. I just don't know what to change to.

    Halp?

Oh man I wasn't even thinking about shoes.
I'm going to guess I need to start thinking about that, I still wear skating shoes and running shoes.

I've concluded that someone else needs to dress me because I am incapable of picking out clothes that don't make me look like I am still in college in a fraternity.

I at least didn't buy anything at A&F, I just walked out. I'm getting better. :o

I'd take a look at what the people recommending themselves wear before you take their advice

pretty much what other people in this thread said. cultizm has hands down the best prices you'll find. if you want durability, red wing boots will last you forever and are very comfy after you break them in from what I've heard.

Check the WAYWT to see what styles you like. It'll probably make things easier.

Well the problem currently is that I wear what I like. :o

I think it makes me look more immature than I really am. :o

I have concluded Aeropostale sizes are completely weird, nothing looks good on me there.

My body fits Hollister clothes perfectly but I think I am getting a bit old to wear that stuff.

Is Ruehl anything like Hollister in terms of fit? I'm going to check it out when I get the time...

This thread has taken a cruel turn.

My budget is definitely way too low for what I want --
. maybe five nice button down long sleeve shirts
    . two pairs of jeans
. two "going out" sweaters (but not the Mr Rogers kind
. and some tshirts that don't have a moose or my fraternity letters on them

I set aside $200 for the whole thing and that is way too low. I already have a nice North Face jacket so I am set on that part at least.
