I'm having a real problem with creating a flash web gallery in LR. I'm using LR 1.3 and firefox when I upload the gallery and go to view it in firefox it just hangs there saying "loading..." and it never loads. When I create a html gallery it works fine. I really like how easy it is to do everything thru LR then upload it to my site in one push of a button, just wish it actually worked :sad2:

Any ideas could it be a browser issue or software issue?

I had the same issue for a while too but somehow I fixed it. Not much help, sorry

I think it had to do with the uploading using LR vs. uploading via my own FTP client. When I saved it to a folder on the desktop and then uploaded it myself it worked, but otherwise it didn't work.

Gallery2 is REALLY slow. I like how customizable it is but I have it on my site with pictures of my dog and it's slower than anything else I've seen. :hs:

Still can't get it working I'm frustrated with it

html gallery works fine but its kinda boring, the flash gallery won't work no matter what I do which is strange b/c I can load flash galleries on other sites...might have to find a different alternative for gallery software :sad2: or just stick with html and customize it maybe thats better anyway in case others can't load flash sites

You are uploading it before viewing, right? And putting the files all in the same directory? If you just save them and try to view them or "preview" in your web browser before uploading, they will just show a blank screen... But if you upload them and go to the address, it should work.. :hs: If you are uploading them, open up the file and see if the flash file is being called correctly. That could also be a problem

I tried uploading it directly thru lightroom and manually thru ftp and neither worked when I go to the site it just says "loading..." I'm going to try gallery2 for now its fast enough on my site and I can customize it easier :hs:

Good luck :hs: Sometimes I have good luck with Gallery2 and it works perfectly, but sometimes it's just slower than hell and I can't get anything done with it :o Hopefully it works better on your end
