I've installed the nokia data suite and use it in conjunction with my nokia 6230 and USB data cable to transfer MP3 files onto the phone etc.

However everytime I connect the cable to the USB port it brings a 'found new hardware' wizard and it goes through about 5 different installations before it eventually installs all the bits (like nokia 6230 USB modem AT, nokia 6230 USB Generic, etc). Surely it shouldn't have to install this stuff EVERYTIME i connect the cable? It's so annoying..

Anyone else have this problem? or know a solution?

it should only do it once, but like mentioned before, use bluetooth. it'll increase you speed if you have bluetooth b/c its a faster connection than usb

or buy a MMC card reader. I have the same phone and use a card reader since I have one of the 12in1 readers.

this will work, but bluetooth saves you from having to remove the battery cover and battery every time you want to transfer a file.
