What kind of machine and why don't you want Vista?

I have an Acer Aspire 5100 and i feel that Vista crashes too often also the fact that you have to keep granting admin permissions to access every programme is getting a little annoying.

Go to msconfig -> Tools tab. Click Disable UAC, hit launch, and reboot.

Then run an antivirus to see if something nefarious is causing your machine to crash out.

    Care to post your specs?
