    Just read that. The release date is a bit in the air too. I saw a few sites had sold out online and thought maybe they had been released but apparently they were all pre-sales :hsd:

    Soem sites are saying the release is in April/May. Others say June. Works for me since I'll manage to save up from now till then :hs:

    Why couldn't they just sell the 556 looking like that? it's already what almost everyone who wanted one, actually wanted the rifle to look like...

    ~$450. JC Weaponry out of Vancouver is the local Sig dealer and is getting some in soon I think, though he might have them all reserved.

    I'll probably never have the funds to buy/build a proper AR, and given that I only shoot at the range, I minus whale keep my investment and use of it cheap. Thank god for cheap .22lr

    also, I have to imagine it's a fair deal given what the GSG-5s are currently going for :coold:

    according to the wiki, they made a .22lr conversion kit for hte mp5 in 1970.

    now if I could only find an MP5 for under $600 :x: :hsugh:
