what do you want to know? That would be a good start, lol.

WinCE was meant initially for handhelds w/keyboards like the NEC MobilePro 750C. PocketPC was a WinCE implementation for handhelds w/o keyboards, like the Compaq iPaQ. Embedded windows was designed for individual high-speed, specialized installations in non-conventional computer hardware. Kiosks would be a mild example. A refrigerator would be a better example. Embedded windows was designed to be run from a ROM and be more robust than a standard WCE implementation. For example, they have embedded Windows XP. Embedded windows was also designed to be used in life-critical operations, such as hospitals, and industrial applications.

yep. Microsoft has long had the vision of all your home appliances networked via ethernet. It was actually a cool concept. First of all, the microwave, tv, and stove would all have the SAME time... You could also control HVAC and other functions via your computer, remote control, automate things, set macros, etc. It was a cool concept.

A company has somewhat adopted this (I saw the fridge at Best Buy about a year ago) that integrated a tablet PC into the refrigerator. All fridge/freezer functions were controlled via the tablet, as well as the ability to watch tv/movies, check email, etc.
