I have the S-MX plus boots. I love them. Very adjustable for comfort, and very light. They feel lighter than my running shoes. Walking around is a bit stiff though (like having ski boots on). So I wont wear them places that i have to walk around much. I usually only wear them when im planning on just riding all day.

Well, I wrecked sunday afternoon at about 90mph. Luckily I was wearing my boots. My feet and ankles are in perfect condition, and the boots stood up to the wreck like a champ. They are still in very usable condition. Just some scratches and mostly on the replacable plastic pieces made for sliding on the ground. :ugh2:

Glad to hear you're OK :)

Hmm... I should look into the women's S-MX boots. I hope your bike made it out from the crash ok :hsd:

I've got the Alpinestar SMX-3 boots that I ride in everyday. I don't really like the SMX-Plus boots because the inner boot is a pain in the ass to deal with. I like being able to just pull the velcro on the side, zip it down and put my foot in the boot. As an alternative, the SMX-3 is pretty darn good for the money. Also, take a look at the Sidi's.

    Some thing to remember:

    1. Boots are squeaky as hell
    2. The velcro wears out on the boot
    3. The "racier" the boot the shittier it is to walk around in (soles are slickery)

    Hope this helps...
