    I have Linux in a nutshell 3rd edition ... it was in the O'Rielley bunch I posted a while back.

    your class is actually over linux instead of unix?

    It's a unix class, but he said we can have either book (unix, linux or mac os x) in a nutshell...

    Said that linux is basically 95% unix so either book will do.

    i'll probably pickl it up off of amazon. thx

    the Unix class I took was one of the 3 best/most useful/most effective courses I had in college. The other two were Network Programming and Programming Language Concepts
