For a month or two now I've woken up and the only way I can describe it is that my body feels tired. Really fucking tired. Not sore (Sometimes I'll get sore, I know what that feels like).

I've had some good progress. I'm happy with the direction I'm headed. That's all good. I can live with this but its strange. Has anyone experienced this? Have any tips? Frankly, it makes me hit snooze 3 times which is something I never used to do - I used to just get my ass out of bed right away.

Part of this is that I am lifting bigger and better and perhaps my body just needs more sleep. I get 7-8 hours as often as a I can. Work has been much more demanding which may play a part. But I now need a long ass nap on saturday instead of a 20 minute power nap. I don't know, something seems different.

Stress is a bitch. Sounds like you're depressed (seriously) or your CNS is shot to shit.

Stress could be a big part of this. My career leaped forward in the last two months but it also has meant 12-16 hour days.

I'm certain that I'm not depressed. I had a pretty blue period that was ultimately very insightful and productive but the last few months my spirits have been high.

Why would my CNS be fubar?

Alarm at 7. Up at 730.

Work til, lets say 9. Diner around 8 at work.

    Lift from 930-1030

    PWO meal at 10:30

In bed around 11:30. Asleep before midnight.

Lift 4 days a week. I TRY to do 3 days during the week and one weekend. It often ends up 2 weekday, 2 weekend.

Two Friday's ago I took a nap before going out around 830. I slept until 9 the next morning :o

I feel like that every morning, lol.

But mine is mostly due to not being on a good sleep schedule.... My body can never get a chance to get into a routine. Some days I go to bed at 2am and wake up at 9am and other days I won't go to bed til 5am and will sleep until noon. My circadian rhythm is trashed.

In your case though, it's probably due to work. Think about it dude. Mon-Fri you have NO LIFE!! You eat 3 of your meals at work, work morning, afternoon, night, and by the time you finally get home after a workout it's time for bed. When are you unwinding?

You might not be depressed yet, but you're certainly stressed. If you don't find a way to channel some of that and it might move beyond just feeling like shit in the morning and turn into depression due to lack of life.

    Every day homey.

But now I'm on a sweet cocktail of stimulants and tranquilizers and basically chemically induce my sleep/wake pattern. It's finally starting to get better.

I got stronger shit than that. Luckily I have a cool doctor who understands my need to be a semi-functional member of society and not a zombie.

I've had the exact same problem over the last two or three weeks. It's weird. Like you, I never used to have any problems getting out of bed, but lately I've been pushing it. I figure it's because the shitty diet and lack of exercise lately has finally caught up with me.

That happens to me too. If I nap for more than an hour I wake up feeling like a Bus ran over me. Overall though, it's just the morning when I have trouble waking. I'll hit my snooze 3 or 4 times, sleep through my alarm, be a total grump in the morning, etc...

But after like 20min of being up I am fine and totally awake the rest of the day.

Having run out of protein for a week and prior experimenting if I don't get at least 150g a day I'm completely shot to shit and don't even want to get up off of the couch to do anything.

Or I could just be a pussy with SAD.

I get this. This morning though, I woke up on my own, and when I woke up I didnt go back to bed even though I had an extra 20 minutes to sleep. Going back to sleep usually makes it difficult for me to wake back up.
