I used to be an avid user of protein powder but just lost the taste and interest for them. I started replacing my post workout shake with a post workout meal. This has been working just as well.

But for matters of convenience and wanting to get a little extra protein in my diet I'm thinking about buying pre-mixed protein drinks only for post workout use.

Are there any out there that are reasonable as far as price is concerned?

they are all a little "high" in terms of price. If you just want to get some extra protein in your diet throughout the day, I recommend buying the powder and making some shakes and putting them in little containers for the week and bring them with you. :dunno:

I've had at least a few thousand shakes in the last 5 years...and I just feel like I'm fucking done with them. I haven't had one in about 6 months now...I love Muscle Milk for its delicious taste but the nutritional profile is shitty.

So I guess another good question is, is there anything out there that tastes as good as muscle milk with a better nutritional profile. I know thats asking for a lot :hs:

Those fats work great on a Keto diet and there isn't that much sugar. I don't see it being bad but i'm assuming the label isn't lying about the fats or sugars.

sorry. I usually suggest that to people without vaginas. Go and buy your prissy little protein shake.

I got some of the EAS Chocolate Shake ones in a 4-pack at Target. I think I got the "carb-conscious" ones by mistake, and they had less protein that the regular ones (mine had 17g I think...). They were about $6 or so and the taste wasn't bad at all, but I like ON Extreme Chocolate in water better.

I got some Muscle Milk Chocolate ones to try, but haven't tried one yet.

Yeah, it was $2-3 more for the same size 4-pack. Everybody seems to swear by that company, though. I drink ON, but I don't think they have an RTD...
