I got exposed to it over the last week... and kind of found it a little difficult to grasp :eek3::wtc:

I used it quite a bit in graduate school. XSB, Inc. (http://www.xsb.com/) originated at my school and I considered applying after I graduated. I haven't used it at any other jobs though.

Did anyone _ever_ use Prolog? :mamoru:

Seriously, though, I'm taking a course that uses Prolog (and Lisp) this term.

Good money can be made as an IBM Tivoli TEC admin if you understand Prolog. Its event filter/ruleset engine is written in Prolog. It's a plus with some companies using TEC if you can customize event filters.

AI really doesn't do anything for me. I don't find it particularly interesting. Which is unfortunate, since I go to a huge AI school.

However, I do find Lisp and Prolog pretty neat, so I'm looking forward to my Lisp/Prolog class.

I find AI very interesting...however the semester just started. Discussions about what constitutes intelligence are very interesting to me.
