When I was in high school I bought 2 tapout shirts when the brand first emerged in the UFC (as far as I knew).

I've probably worn them like 5 times combined in 5 years.

And now a few of my friends wear affliction shirts but have never seen the inside of a gym. Makes me want to puke.

I know tapout is more poser than affliction, but affliction just looks ridiculous IMO.

An affliction shirt is more prestigious than a BJJ black belt.

Have an affliction shirt I got for a present from a g/f. It sits in the closet. Should cut it up and use it for shop rags or something.

So if I like basketball, but I don't play professionally, I'm not allowed to wear a basketball jersey?

    It's only clothing guys...

I like the looks of some of the affliction stuff, but he'll if I am going to pay $80+ for a shirt or $160 for a hoodie.

Tapout has some clothing that I don't think looks that bad and by itself I don't see a problem with people wearing it. The problem with tapout, affliction and other mma brands is the people who wear them thinking it's like the MMA equivalent of Jim Carey in The Mask and it transforms them just by putting it on.

Also the 5'3 white guy in a Shaquille O'neal jersey isn't going to pretend to be him to get pussy.

I have 1 Affliction shirt (Randy) that my gf bought me for my b-day, 1 UFC shirt that my brother bought me when he was in Vegas, and 1 Rampage shirt that I bought myself... Seriously, if only fighters were allowed to wear mma apparel, then every mma clothing company (t*u included) would go out of business and no fighter would make $$ from the sponsorships...
