i like the how a mac has the dock. i was wondering if there a dock that has your items running listed. kinda like alt+tab but always open and on the side of your computer. kinda like rocket dock but you click on it and it changes to the program you have running. thank you for helping.

the z-index is ignored by most games, which will overlay on top.

technically you get the handle of the window you want to set on top (such as an API call like FindWindow) then use an API call like SetWindowPos with hWndInsertAfter as -1 for the handle in question.

If you arn't a programmer or just don't want to be bothered, there are dozens of freeware/gpl progs that do just that.

Vitrite is one... Also allowing transparency, if you're in to that.
