i actually prefer english if the translation and voice acting is good... it lets me focus my attention on the visuals instead of reading text....
    - princess mononoke
    - flcl
    - cowboy bebop

unfortunately by anad large, most dubs are horrible, so i prefer the subs

english actually fits better with cowboy bebop, because the characters arnt even asian... you could say its weird seeing a white male (spike) speaking perfect japanese... on the other hand a show like yakitake japan relies and subtle puns and would not work at all in english

English nowadays.. I used to watch it subbed or nothing else, but now I like to actually enjoy the action going on without staring at the bottom of the screen, but some you just have to watch with subs or it gets confusing. Like in Evangelion episode 8, when Asuka is trying to pilot the Eva with Shinji and he keeps thinking in Japanese when the Eva responds to German, listening to them talk in English while this is going on is kinda funny

i definitly prefer to watch it in english. Maybe it's just the series i watch dubbed but most of the stuff i've got is decent to great dubbing.

I do have plenty of subbed stuff w/ jap audio, which i don't mind typically. But w/ say Evangelion (the dub sucks on that one) reading the subtitles is unrealistic sometimes b/c you'll miss something very interesting or important on screen.

    i dont like dubs
the most tolerable one was FLCL. all the voices were kinda similar, it just feels weird and gayer if i watch anime dubbed
