My guy charged $15 for my pistol, I only had a $20 and he didn't have change. I offered to let him just keep the $5 because it was easier... but he said he would write me a check for $5.

He is a lawyer who does transfers out of his office.

  4. If the guy is doing transfers and charging for them then he charges what he wants. Why would you give him MORE money than he asks for?

So what you're saying is that you're paying a $20 transfer fee that happens to be itemized? :hsugh:

    That I can understand.

This $20 bullshit though, are these people seriously bitching about that?

  18. Only 1 person here could even remotely be argued to have actually complained about a $20 transfer.

Holy shit Shen, so it costs you $100 everytime you take a gun in/out of your FFL?

So that like what, ~$200 tacked on everytime you send a pistol away for something?

Oh, and $10, delivered, is the cost here. Like Mr. T; I pity tha fool who has to pay big bucks for "background checks".
