    It won't ever happen, since Ford is currently fully committed to bringing us amazing cars like the current generation (lolz) Focus and the Taurus.

    Its a Ford Falcon. Its made in australia and its not exported anywhere, for some stupid reason.

    If they do what pontiac did and Call it a Mercury old ass name to feed some sense of false idealism then no.

    If they call it a ford Falcon and dont molest ANY of it, no cosmetic changes, power/driveline changes. then yea.

    true. i'd still like to know why ford have never imported the falcon to the us though...

    All it has is a different fascia and hood too. Not exactly earth-shattering changes and it looks terrific either way.

    It's not engineered for left-hand drive. The six cylinder engines will not pass US emissions without a big investment. Ford AU's manufacturing cannot provide a suitable volume for sale outside of AU.

    Ford US is completely broke too, no money to give Ford AU which is going broke. Things are not rosy for Ford worldwide outside of Europe.
