A few people have told me to start supplementing with ZMA. I've read some reviews saying it works great and I've read some reviews saying it turned people into insomniacs/gave them diarrhea. What kind of experience have you guys had with ZMA?

I read somewhere that Victor Conte admitting to falsifying the results of the study that initially supported ZMA though I can't find the link right now.

ive heard its only effective if your diet has a severe deficit of zinc and magnesium... if it doesnt you don't really notice anything from it.

I noticed it made a huge difference when I was playing football, even when I was eating steaks for dinner every night.

i take zinc and magnesium and b-6 every night before bed. I get deeper sleep and i actually remember dreams vs not remembering anything.

that's about the only difference I can feel

even if it doesn't do what it says, it's still worth it. it's cheap as fuck and you get awesome dreams that you actually remember.

Waste of time. Inject B-12 instead.

Look, ZMA helped raise testosterone levels in special forces who were literally suffering from malnutrtion and were undergoing such intense training that their testosterone levels were low. No other benefit to 'ZMA' has EVER been demonstrated. Its a placebo.

ZMA is a waste of your money and talking about it is a waste of your time. Its bullshit. You've been suckered. Why do you people waste so much time discussing 'supplements' that don't work? If you want performance enhancement beyond protein and carbs, then get yourself some gear. Other than that, you're kidding yourself.

B-12 does help with appetite and energy, which is why I mention it. It actually DOES SOMETHING. ZMA is a joke. And so is anyone that tells you to take it.

Funny, nowhere in this entire thread does anyone even mention taking it to increase test. Coincidentally, it's almost unanimous that people find it improves quality of sleep and gives vivid dreams - something not mentioned by companies selling their product.

    Take your trolling somewhere else.

Yeah pal, he's talking about supplementing for SLEEP, in the F&N forum. Har har. Take YOUR trolling elsewhere, asshat.

And this isn't about testosterone? Meeeehhhhhh...
