Do you recall what year did you first pick up a musclemag?

Mine's was a Muscle Fitness issue in late 1983 or 84. I recall an add that showed pics of the reigning Mr. Olympia at the time, Samir Bannout. He looked so shredded, it looked unreal to me. For that period I think he'd taken it to a new level.

There's this cute chick who's the semi-manager of MuscleMag downtown. I'm sure Timber knows who I'm talking about. I'd try to pick her up but i'm sure i'd get denied before I even start :o

When my brother was playing football his sophomore year of high school (I was in 8th grade then) he brought a Men's Fitness home that actually had a lot of good information. There was a routine in there that I started using when I first started working out. It actually wasn't a bad routine, it was mostly stuff that you can easily do around the house if you have a few dumbells.

I think that must have been around 2001 or 2002 then.

toronto right? is there anything of interest in there? i've never actually gone in

i remember i worked at a grocery store probably about 6 years ago so i just took some mag home with me, reading a BB's diet was unreal at the time to me just on the sheer calories consumed.

Nah Rarely go in there. MuscleMag is too pricey.
Though I may have to go there to get a weight belt for pullups when I return.

It was most likely sometime last year around this time. That was when I started taking my health much more serious as I was told.. your health problems are pretty much related to your weight.. fattie (well minus the last part). I purchased like 3-4 mags that week and just read and read. Whenever I need motivation these days I just open a magazine and look... then look in the mirror. The stark contrast usually gets me back in the groove.
