Do you pack a lunch to work, what do you pack? v Sodium intake

    I've been eating these oriental noodles, it has about 40% sodium equalling out to 990mg of it for on serving. I'm assuming thats a lot. I usually take it to work to eat, so it is instant noodles. :o How bad is it if you are eating foods that are high in sodium, I am looking to lose weight. My lunch consists of ,

    2 Orange Juice boxes
    2 Nutri Gran Bars
    Half a cantaloupe
    Some strawberries (10 huge strawberries?)
    Instant Noodles; Kimchi
    1 or 2 bottles of water

    But i Eat all of that through out the 8 hours I'm there.

    what do you usually pack? or buy? I need some healthy lunch ideas :o

    Tomorrow I'm having this at work:

    Meal 1:

    2 scoops max milk
    3 fish oil

    Meal 2:

    11 oz chicken
    salad
    3 fish oil
    1 oz almonds

    Meal 3:

    2 oz beef jerky
    1 oz almonds
    3 fish oil

    That's 1270 cals between 9:30am and 3:30pm which keeps me satisfied. Tomorrow I will have 2 cups of oats, 7 egg whites, and 2 whole eggs at 6:45am before I leave for work and right when I get home at 5:45pm I'll have 1 cup of oats, 200g of broccoli, and 4 oz chicken.

    It's not good for you! Stop eating it! As a rule, freeze-dried, dehydrated, artificial, oriental-themed noodles with no expiration date that only instruct you to "Add water" will NOT help you our much.

    meal 1 : 10oz chicken breast + cup of brown rice

    meal 2: peanut butter sadiwch

    meal 3: 2 cans of tuna + cup of brown rice.
    then i go home and grab my bottle and put some xtend and go lift.

    I eat 2 meals before work and another after i lift.

    diet from Mon-Fri

    7am 100% whey Shake in soy milk + oatmeal
    11am muscle milk in water
    1200 workout
    130 Chicken Breast, 1 Cup Brown rice, 0.5cup veggies + Carbo Gain (maltodextrin)
    7pm Salmon + broccoli OR Tuna + broccoii
    10pm 100%Whey in soy milk

    2600 cals a day with a 40/40/20 split

    on the soy milk.. i know people freak out about soy but when leaning up it works well for me.

    apple, 16oz chicken (pre-cooked weight), 3oz almonds, 3.5 servings asparagus (one package), 1.5 cups of oatmeal...that is tomorrow's lunch. "Cutting" right now.

    it varies so much.... half the time i just get fast food or a deli sammich.


    The most common thing I take is this:


    32oz skim milk (sip on it throughout the day)
    2 cans of tuna + avocado + rice + olive oil (leave oil that out if you're dieting)
    Peanut butter and jelly on whole grain
    banana


    that + bacon, egg, cheese sammich for breakfast = win. then again i'm trying to gain weight at ~195lbs so if you're dieting, don't eat all that.

    btw your diet looks to have very little protein and probably really high sugar. More lean meat, less fruit.

    detour bars
    light yogurt
    various fruit and or carrot sticks
    various nuts (usally cashues or almonds)
    grilled chicken breast if I have it for dinner the night before
    beef jerky
    Precanned protien shakes.

    On my high carb days I take 6 and on my low carb days I take 9. I've seen people go upwards of 12. They're healthy fats and I've noticed an increase in my ability to concentrate when taking them.

    bulk meal plan:
    8:00- breakfast shake
    10:00- 50g whey
    12:00- "double fiber" (expensive ass bread from the health nazi store) coldcut sandwich / or last nights leftovers
    4:00- 50g whey
    8:00 big ass fucking dinner, with a few carbs and at least 2 chicken breasts / .75lb beef / turky / whatever


    I cook every meal typically, don't eat fast food ever, and pretty much only eat at small ethnic restaurants and order food within reason.
