I think ARs with big scopes look goofy... just my opinion.

:werd: I rather blow a wad of cash on an acog then some big goofy looking thing on an AR, rather put a big scope on somthing more suited for it.

Looks like RRA designed it specifically for the ARMS pop-up too :)

My Colt M6700 has a Springfiled Armory scope on it.

I want to get a see-through scope mount for the carry handle. Anyone know of a good one?

the problem is that the sights on an AR are so high that you can really only get see through optics if it a zero magnification that is co-witnessed.

yeah, thats the one thing. The other option would be some pretty high scope rings, and deal with the blur of the front sight. That high-riser mount looks promising.

anything greater than 3x pretty much sees "through" the front sight. At 9x
the front sight doesn't seem to exist.

I'll second that. The scope "blur" is downright imperceptible. The only way it's noticable is if you're looking through the scope from about 18" away.
