I currently use a neck strap but the hand strap looks pretty functional.

    Opinions?

Will the handstrap work with the MB-D10 battery grip?

I used a hand strap until I got my 100-400, it would feel like my wrist was broken after carrying it for about an hour. So I made a sweet sleeve for my neck strap out of some soft fabric, 1000x better now.

I really like having a hand strap

Both... I use the canon e1 handstrap, and the optech pro neck strap. so i can use it dual purpose.

Hand strap. I absolutely love it, but it would be better if I didn't have to have a grip on it to use the strap.

Would rather not have one at all, but neckstrap it is.

I wrap the neck strap around my wrist & palm when I have to.

    thats actually pretty cool....

    Side question:

Is there a hand strap that allows you to use both handles if your camera has a grip?

    Otherwise, whats the point...
