Do you guys have the same amount of protein on your off days...

    as your on days?

    when I'm cutting I keep the protein up on my non workout days, but I'm not sure about when I'm bulking.

    what about u guys??

    yes. protein constant, carbs vary.

    i don't take any protein on my off days... maybe i should change this...

    not keeping a steady diet is why people lose size/strength during an off period

    does "off period" count as the days i'm not in the gym?

    i work out monday-thursday and friday-sunday, i don't have any protein shakes... should i change this?

    yeah you should keep your diet constant day to day. depending on your training and goals the carbs might be different. Like if youre dieting you wouldn't eat as many carbs on a non active day as you would on a day you workout. But especially if you're trying to put on weight/muscle whatever your calories and macros should be the same day to day.

    you don't necessarily need protein shakes but you should be trying to get about the same # of grams of protein/day.

    ya im in the same bucket i guess.


    did not know i had to drink even on my off days...how much should i drink? i weigh 160lbs and about 5 foot 11...so ya, how much sould i drink in grams?
