I know this is The Cage, but I am wondering how you guys feel about drinking.
i have a beer or two every once in a while, never to get drunk though. i think drinking destroys everything i have worked for so i try to keep it at a minimum, thought there are some days when i go all out, but htose are very rare
I don't but it's related to my health issues
Rarely, as in maybe once every couple months. I can't handle my liquor very well either so its kinda of a good thing too since I can't drink too much or I'll just puke it all out.
I do at most twice a month, but Booyyyy I can feel it fuck up my system and slow me down the next day (or two or three).
i get wasted 4 times a week
same here, and i hate it. i try to stop going out so much, but my friends are always at my door ready to go, and they wont take no for an answer. kills me when i work out and it all goes down the drain.
I usually have a few beers once or twice a week with the guys. I also smoke a pack a week. I know it works strongly against me and it's just bad to have negative habits not just becuse it weakens me physically but that it also weakens my will as someone who trains. Once I get into classes and the whole deal I'll probably give up all this stuff, and since I'm in surgery recovery right now with my jaw wired shut (haven't had a cig in 3 weeks) I'll probably quit smoking.
i'm going to get plastered tonight, meaning my training will suffer accordingly
wait, i don't train
yeah very rarely.
I drink daily but never get drunk
yay sloshed right now
gonna pass out, its 5:01 am here
i dont remember posting that
lets sign up for some kickboxing
as a matter of principle or because of religious reasons?
I don't drink much at all
i went in to a BJJ academy/gym near me and talked to the instructor, and he basically said i couldn't train with my piercing
bend on the back of your neck
Having that piercing is more important to you than being able to do BJJ?
not really, but i really like my piercing and it's relatively new
once i get tired of my piercing and get it out, i'll think about BJJ again. besides, it's hard to find time with working ~50 hours a week
