I dont know whether to :ugh: at the idea or welcome it. I've never done them before and dont intend to start. I feel like moving around big dbs for other lifts will give them workout enough.

But i wouldnt hate on someone doing them as big/toned forearms go right along with big anything else.

I havent done any direct forearm lifts and feel my forearms have grown a great deal over the past couple of years.

Its common to see people in the gym do them though. I am still way too small in too many areas to start worrying about my forearms though :hs:

Yes, on arms day. Lots of rest as they need to be killed for growth and get filled with blood very quickly.

Between heavy bicep curls, deads, shrugs, rows, etc... they get a decent burn... but on bicep day I still throw in 3 sets of forearm curls. Swole forearms are fucking awesome.

JUST found out tonight that my gym has one on hand. beastly forearms coming soon.

I do deadlifts with double overhand grip for as long as possible until my grip can't handle it, then I switch it up. Other than that I also try to grip DBs for maybe 20 seconds after doing walking lunges and that tends to burn the hell out of my forearms.

My forearms started gaining size after I incorporated hammer curls.

ya i like them. i don't even do any forearm specific exercises, just do curls and stuff with tyler girps and my forearms will be burning.
