I've always sold/traded games in the past, but to this day I have not sold any of my PS3 games. No specific reason why, I guess I never needed the money. :dunno:

Now that I have my own little collection building up, I don't want to get rid of any games but it's starting to not make sense. I have games that I'll probably never play again, but don't really want to let them go.

With so many good games coming out in the next few weeks/months, I'm thinking I should get rid of some to offset the cost of new games. :hs:

Do you sell games after you're done with them, or keep them for your collection?

It's funny you mention not selling PS3 games cuz I've managed to keep all of mine so far :x:

But back in the day when gamestop/funcoland/whatever the fuck it's called now had a 7 day return policy on new games I would always get rid of games. Then I used to trade all the time but I slowly realized how much of a waste it is.

It is hard to not trade away when you're dick broke and want new shit, but I always end up wanting to play through old games again sometimes and tend to regret letting certain games go. Although there's quite a few in my collection I was pretty let down by and probably would never miss, I keep telling myself not until I platinum them at least.

I usually keep them. A friend of mine sells EVERY fucking game he gets if it isn't a collectors edition.

Why even buy them? You might as well just rent or borrow them and play through once.

He has a collection of about 3 games for both PS3 and 360, both of which he's had almost since their launches.

Only recently have I traded a few games in, and that was only because there was some bonus trade-in value special for trading in several games.

Usually between $5 and $12 but no point in keeping the old ones.

Kept all of my 360 games so far. I'm a bit of a hoarder and I know the price i'll get for most of them will be far less than I paid so I just try and ignore it incase i'll play them some day. Which I won't..

    I keep them

I usually only buy 3-4 new games a year, though, so they're usually good enough to replay at some point.

    I usually keep them.

Resale on them is usually shit, so I hang on to them instead of giving Gamestop more money.

:werd: This is how I do it too... or if I know it's a game I really will never bother playing again. Otherwise I know someday down the road, I'd want to re-play it and then I'd regret selling it :hs:
